Citizen and Visitor Privacy

Our privacy policy is simple. Any information obtained for the creation and maintenance of your membership in Unknown Galaxy is the sole property of Unknown Galaxy. Any information about our members is never given to anyone. We reserve the right to contact our members with regularly scheduled newsletters etc and such, an opt out option will be available.

Emails or other correspondence requesting members surrender passwords or other account information does not, and cannot exist as it would be impossible for a member to verify the origin of such a request.

NEVER GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION OR PASSWORDS TO ANYONE.

Citizen and Visitor Conduct and Etiquette

The following constitute the general rules of any individuals conduct and Internet Etiquette while visiting Unknown Galaxy in Publicly Accessible areas. Please read these thoroughly.

• Please do not insult other tourists or citizens by use of inflammatory or offensive statements or images. We ask that you refrain from expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred, or profanity. Please do not harass other users, including verbal abuse or personal attacks.
• Please do not engage in racial, religious, ethnic, or sexual slurs, lewd comments, or generally disruptive behavior.
• Public meeting areas are not appropriate spaces for cyber-sexual behavior, sexual orientation discussions or activity.
• The use of all caps is considered shouting, please refrain from using caps unless you are intending to shout. Please refrain from flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text) as this can be annoying to users.
• Unknown Galaxy or its associates reserve the right to enforce compliance with these guidelines, which may include ejection from the world.

Please consider that the citizens and visitors of Unknown Galaxy is a global heritage made up of many ethnic, cultural and religious beliefs. Therefore, (intentional or not), the course of a conversation, or even certain words, may have different meaning to different people. We encourage our Citizens and Visitors to exercise due respect while talking with others in Unknown Galaxy.

Unknown Galaxy Content Guidelines

Unknown Galaxy content is a reflection of many individual ideas, interests, activities and hobbies. While Unknown Galaxy promotes and encourages individual expression in the content that is displayed, standards consistent with the Internet community and the societies of the world need to be maintained without discriminating against sex, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion or socio-economic status.

Therefore, publicly accessible areas in Unknown Galaxy will maintain content acceptable for viewing by all visitors.

Further, please refrain from using Unknown Galaxy for the following activities:

1. Displaying material containing nudity, pornography, or sexual material of a lewd, lecherous or obscene nature and intent or those that violate local, state and national laws.

2. Providing material that is grossly offensive to the online community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity.

3. Promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities. Promoting physical harm or injury against any group or individual, or promoting any act of cruelty to animals. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: Providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other weapons.

4. Covering excessive amounts of land in any of the Unknown Galaxy public building area, by any means including bots, keyboard macros, or even manual building.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any objects or properties from the Unknown Galaxy which is brought to our attention or which we find, at our sole discretion, violates any of these content guidelines or otherwise is in violation of the law.

Unknown Galaxy does not actively monitor content, will investigate complaints of violation of these guidelines.

Please submit any such complaints to abuse@unknowngalaxy.com.

Users who are in violation of these content guidelines may have their membership revoked, services cancelled and their properties, or portions of their properties, removed without warning; in which event Unknown Galaxy will not return the removed properties to the offending member.

Unknown Galaxy is not responsible or liable for any loss of data resulting from our deletion of properties, network or system outages, file corruption or any other reasons.

The opinions and views expressed in Unknown Galaxy do not necessarily reflect those of Unknown Galaxy. Content is not reviewed, endorsed or otherwise vouched for in any way before they appear in Unknown Galaxy. Users may be held legally liable for their content

Unknown Galaxy is not responsible for the delivery of any goods or services sold or advertised through its sponsors.

Policy in Regards to Refunds

All sales are final. When a membership is created, it is valid for the life of the agreement to the original purchaser. Citizenships in Unknown Galaxy are non-transferable and are non-refundable.

Unknown Galaxy reserves the rights to amend or change policy at any time and without notice. To release current or past member information if Unknown Galaxy believes the membership is being used to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed. To deny membership to repeat offenders of the Unknown Galaxy Policy. To remove members for conduct that Unknown Galaxy believes is harmful to other members, to non-members or to Unknown Galaxy as a business.

Unknown Galaxy makes no guarantee of availability of service and reserves the right to change, withdraw, suspend, or discontinue any functionality or feature of Unknown Galaxy.

In no event will Unknown Galaxy be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of or inability to use Unknown Galaxy or any content therein. This disclaimer applies, without limitation, to any damages or injury, whether for breach of contract, tort, or otherwise, caused by any failure of performance; error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; computer virus; file corruption; communication-line failure; network or system outage; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of any record.
